In the initial lines, this crime must be understood as a violation of someone's freedom, intimacy and privacy, where the agent's acts are practiced with the objective of controlling the life of his victim, and in more serious cases, it may even have repercussions on others. legally protected assets. Thus, the study on the subject is of great relevance since it is a recent subject, and that its practice is growing more every day, configu ring a problem of a social nature and also of public health, since its occurrence confi gures one of the forms of psychological violence. In addition, it constitutes a clear vi olation of the right to human dignity and the right to privacy. Therefore, legal professi 3 onals cannot avoid seeking to understand this problem, given the magnitude of its re percussions, both in the social sphere and in terms of the health of victims. With a view to this, for a perfect understanding of this problem, it is necessary to study the reason that gave rise to these acts, how the stalker behaves, the consequences of these acts in the lives of the victims, as well as the possible remedial measures to be taken. be done to these. This project may represent the first step towards broadening the understanding of the subject, indicating possible measures to be taken to change this situation, which grows more each day.
