The aim of this study was to evaluate the static body balance and co-Dinami in elderly practitioners of gymnastics, which were tested twice, an-tes and after a threemonth activity protocol. The methodology of this study was quan-tive of the experimental type. The study was conducted with 26 elderly practitioners hidrogi-nástica average age of 71.5 ± 9.1 years in the city of Lajeado / RS. To assess functional mobility test was used "Timed Up & Go and static balance the baropodometry. Data collected by baropodometry were analyzed using a software called Footwork 3600, and their results entered and tabulated in Microsoft Windows Excel 2007® program. Statistical treatments baropodometry and TUG were performed using SPSS-16.0, with a significance level of p <0.05. After analyzing the data, as well as improvement in the TUG test, which shows a decrease tion in the risk of falls and improving functional mobility, there was a decrease in the area of the body center of pressure and a reduced distance from the center of pressure the two feet which suggests an improvement of static balance.
