Este trabalho apresenta o projeto de retrofit da automação de uma máquina industrial de embutir salsicha em uma indústria de alimentos no Vale do Taquari, RS. O objetivo principal é modernizar a automação da máquina, envolvendo a instalação de novos equipamentos, programação de CLP, aplicação de uma IHM e validação do sistema por meio de simulações. A importância do projeto reside na melhoria da autonomia dos operadores, no diagnóstico eficaz de falhas e maior precisão nas tarefas. A metodologia inclui o estudo do funcionamento mecânico, elétrico e operacional da máquina, substituindo o sistema de automação atual por um novo, incorporando um CLP Micro850 da Allen-Bradley à IHM via Ethernet/IP. Além disso, prevê-se a substituição dos inversores de frequência, que serão do modelo PowerFlex 525 Allen-Bradley, também integrados por meio de Ethernet/IP, bem como a adição de novos componentes. Os testes de funcionalidade foram satisfatórios, permitindo que os operadores ajustem parâmetros de produção de forma autônoma, melhorando a operação da máquina e reduzindo a dependência de técnicos de manutenção.
This work presents the automation retrofit project of an industrial sausage stuffing machine in a food industry in Vale do Taquari, RS. The main objective is to modernize machine automation, involving the installation of new equipment, PLC programming, application of an HMI and validation of the system through simulations. The importance of the project lies in improving operator autonomy, effective fault diagnosis and greater task precision. The methodology includes the study of the mechanical, electrical and operational functioning of the machine, replacing the current automation system with a new one, incorporating an Allen-Bradley Micro850 PLC into the HMI via Ethernet/IP. In addition, it is planned to replace the frequency inverters, which will be the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 525 model, also integrated via Ethernet/IP, as well as the addition of new components. Functionality tests were satisfactory, allowing operators to adjust production parameters autonomously, improving machine operation and reducing dependence on maintenance technicians.
