Abstract
O presente memorial descritivo relata o processo de criação de um jogo de tabuleiro inspirado em uma campanha de RPG, o qual se relaciona com o artigo científico apresentado no Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso I do curso de Design da Universidade do Vale do Taquari - Univates, intitulado “Character Design: transmitindo emoções em personagens através da simbologia das formas”. A partir do Guia do Character Design elaborado nesse artigo, buscou-se aplicar os conceitos explorados no presente trabalho. Inicialmente voltado apenas para o design de personagens, o projeto evoluiu para um estudo de três fases, abrangendo o desenvolvimento da mecânica do jogo, a criação do artefato e o projeto de comunicação visual. Além disso, para o desenvolvimento do projeto como um todo, adotou-se a metodologia de design de Bonsiepe (1984), e foram realizados testes de jogabilidade para a validação do projeto.
This descriptive memorial reports the process of creating a board game inspired by an RPG campaign, which is related to the scientific article presented in Work of Completion of Course I, of the Design course at the University of Vale do Taquari - Univates, titled “Character Design: Transmitting Emotions Into Characters Through The Symbology Of Shapes”. Based on the Character Design Guide prepared in this article, the concepts explored in this work were applied. Initially focused solely on character design, the project evolved into a three-phase study, covering the development of game mechanics, product creation and visual communication design. For the development of the project, the methodology proposed by Bonsiepe (1984) was used, and gameplay tests were carried out to validate the project.
