The Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Vale do Taquari - Univates Lucas Capalonga participated in the course of Preventive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Sports Cardiology, promoted by the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC). The event was held in the city of Bern, Switzerland, from June 17 to 24.

 

According to Lucas, this type of meeting is important because, besides promoting updating in the area, it allows direct contact with professionals from different parts of the world. “Events like this are very productive. In addition to updating some specific concepts of exercise prescription for patients, it provides opportunities for contact with other professionals from different parts of the world, so we can understand how the health system works in other countries and how they work with their patients”.
