O Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é um transtorno que, atualmente, afeta entre 3% e 8% das crianças e adolescentes, e entre 2,5% e 3% dos adultos. Seu tratamento se dá por meio de medicamentos e psicoterapias, mas há uma abertura para que tratamentos auxiliares possam atuar como alternativas. As tecnologias assistivas são possíveis formas de auxiliar neste transtorno, buscando amenizar seus sintomas mais característicos por meio de uma solução de software. O presente trabalho foi elaborado a fim de atuar, por meio de uma aplicação web progressiva (PWA), na redução dos sintomas, buscando otimizar a organização pessoal, e trazer um melhor desempenho e ganho de produtividade no dia a dia do usuário. Para isso, foram realizados estudos a respeito do TDAH e de suas características, das tecnologias assistivas e de usabilidade, embasando de forma mais consistente o trabalho proposto. Além disso, foram avaliados trabalhos relacionados com o foco nas soluções tecnológicas aplicadas no auxílio do TDAH, a fim de entender as possibilidades e funcionalidades mais relevantes para a aplicação. Após desenvolvida, a solução foi disponibilizada para que um grupo de indivíduos diagnosticados com o transtorno ou afetados por sintomas relacionados pudessem testá-la, além de ter disponibilizado ela também para profissionais da saúde que atuam com pessoas com TDAH. Com os resultados dos testes, pode-se concluir que a aplicação impactou positivamente na organização pessoal dos usuários, trazendo uma aplicação que demonstrou boa usabilidade e centralizou funcionalidades em um só lugar.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that currently affects between 3% and 8% of children and teenagers, and between 2.5% and 3% of adults. The treatment typically involves medication and psychotherapy, but there is potential for auxiliary treatments to serve as complementary alternatives. Assistive technologies are one of the possible ways to help with this disorder, aiming to alleviate its most characteristic symptoms through a software solution. The present work was developed with the aim of addressing, through a progressive web application (PWA), the reduction of symptoms, seeking to optimize personal organization and improve performance and productivity in the user’s daily life. To achieve this, studies were conducted on ADHD and its characteristics, assistive technologies, and usability, providing a more solid foundation for the proposed work. Furthermore, related works were evaluated, focusing on technological solutions applied to aiding ADHD, in order to understand the most relevant possibilities and functionalities for the application. Once developed, the solution was made available for a group of individuals diagnosed with the disorder or affected by related symptoms to test it, as well as for healthcare professionals who work with people with ADHD. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the application positively impacted the users’ personal organization, offering good usability and a centralized set of functionalities in a single platform.
