Resumo
O presente trabalho aborda o dimensionamento e fabricação de um sistema de escape para um veículo off-road, visando otimizar potência e torque do motor de combustão interna ciclo Otto de quatro tempos. A metodologia proposta baseia-se no projeto de dimensionamento do coletor e de seus respectivos tubos de união, na confecção e na realização de ensaios experimentais, a fim de avaliar a performance do motor. Os resultados evidenciaram um incremento na potência e torque, validando a eficácia da metodologia empregada. A análise comparativa entre o sistema construído e o anterior revela ganhos sem alterações na injeção eletrônica. A pesquisa contribui para o entendimento e aprimoramento de sistemas de escape, evidenciando a viabilidade técnica e a efetividade do método proposto.
The present work addresses the sizing and manufacturing of an exhaust system for an off-road vehicle, aiming to optimize power and torque of a four-stroke Otto cycle internal combustion engine. The proposed methodology is based on the design of sizing the manifold and its respective junction pipes, in the manufacturing process, and in the execution of experimental tests to evaluate the engine's performance. The results showed an increase in power and torque, validating the effectiveness of the employed methodology. The comparative analysis between the constructed and the previous system reveals gains without alterations in the electronic injection. The research contributes to the understanding and improvement of exhaust systems, highlighting the technical feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
