Esta dissertação tem como tema o uso de metodologias ativas noensino das Ciências Naturais, tendo sido pesquisadas e desenvolvidas duas estratégias pedagógicas: o World Cafe e o Grupo de Verbalização e Grupo de Observação (GV e GO). O estudo teve como objetivo analisaras potencialidades de estratégias pedagógicas, norteadas por metodologias ativas, no ensino de Ciências Naturais, considerando o conteúdo de Ecologia nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. Sendo assim, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica acerca das metodologias ativas e de sua importância no desenvolvimento de aulas de Ciências Naturais, adotando-se como foco as duas metodologias supracitadas. Sendo assim, as duas metodologias foram aplicadas em uma turma de 6o ano de uma escola de Ensino Fundamental do município de Macapá (AP), buscando saber se tais estratégias seriam significativas, não só garantindo a autonomia na construção de conhecimento entre os alunos, mas auxiliando com a tentativa de erradicar o problema que pode estar sendo enfrentado naquele exato momento. As metodologias foram positivamente avaliadas pelos alunos e, portanto, acredita-se que a partir delas seja possível traçar caminhos de mudanças no ensino. Como resultado, percebeu-se, por meio das respostas dadas aos questionários e da observação em sala de aula, que os alunos interagiram com autonomia em ambas as metodologias, demonstrando estarem realmente interessados em aprender.
This dissertation brings a research based on active methodologies, in the area of Natural Sciences. For this, two active methodologies were researched and developed: the World Cafe and the G.V and G.O (Group of verbalization and Group of Observation). A bibliographic research was carried out about the active methodologies and their importance in the development of Natural Sciences classes, adopting as a focus the two methodologies mentioned above. In search of proving the research objectives, which were based on the students' perception of their own learning, using such methodologies. It was put into practice with two methodologies, applied in a 6th grade class of a elementary school in the municipality of Macapá-Amapá. As a result, it was noticed, through the answers given to the questionnaires and the observation in the classroom, that the students achieved a good involvement and autonomy in the activities of both methodologies, demonstrating to be really interested in learning. The methodologies were evaluated by the students positively, therefore, it is believed that from them it is possible to trace paths of changes in teaching.
