Resumo
A temática desta pesquisa centrou-se no estudo sobre as implicações no Ensino geradas pelas tradições e pelos saberes culturais em uma comunidade afrodescendente de Mazagão Velho, localizada no Amapá. A investigação proposta nesta dissertação teve como delineador o Ensino em uma comunidade afrodescendente e as tradições populares como perspectiva para uma leitura contemporânea dos saberes, como indicador da contextualização e vivência de alguns estudantes da Educação Básica na comunidade de Mazagão Velho/AP. Objetivou-se, nesta investigação, analisar de que modo a cultura e os saberes tradicionais referentes (a) e (da) comunidade de Mazagão Velho reverberam no Ensino das turmas dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental da Escola Estadual Professora Antonia Silva Santos. Para responder à problemática e aos objetivos propostos, a metodologia utilizada filia-se à abordagem qualitativa, sendo uma pesquisa de campo, com obtenção de dados analíticos e descritivos. Os dados foram adquiridos a partir de entrevistas com equipe gestora, por meio de questionários aplicados a 95 estudantes do 6º ao 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental II e seis professores regentes das turmas envolvidas. Ainda, foi realizada a observação de narrativas do grupo focal, constituído por seis famílias pertencentes à comunidade escolar. No processo foi realizada a análise da produção dos desenhos com estudantes do Ensino Fundamental II e seus familiares e, por fim, da análise dos dados do diário de campo da pesquisadora. Os resultados enfatizam a relação dos envolvidos com o contexto identitário e cultural da comunidade de Mazagão Velho, bem como a construção e o avanço do conhecimento educacional sobre as temáticas culturais e os saberes referentes às tradições populares e a comunidade afrodescendente, com evidencias documentadas em seus festejos, culturas, saberes e tradições registrados neste investigação, além dos patrimónios e identidades significativas documentados através das narrativas, respostas, reflexões e desenhos dos sujeitos envolvidos nesta investigação. Ademais, como principais resultados, destaca-se as formas pelas quais a cultura mazaganense estabeleceu fronteiras e é distinguida pela diferença sobre o que separa sua identidade da outra, com elevações, comumente na forma de oposições. Por fim, esta investigação delineou exclusivamente um fragmento da história de Mazagão Velho e seu contexto educacional. A história de Mazagão Velho se reconstrói de forma transformadora absolutamente por sua multiplicidade de versões culturais de um povo histórico, um conjunto de uma memória cultural que continuamente se desloca no tempo e no espaço por meio das suas oportunas manifestações e práticas culturais dentro da sociedade. This research focused on the study of the implications in Education generated by traditions and cultural knowledge in an Afro-descendant community of Mazagão Velho, located in Amapá. The investigation proposed in this dissertation outlined Education in an Afro-descendant community and popular traditions as a perspective for a contemporary reading of knowledge, as an indicator of the contextualization and experience of some Basic Education students in the community of Mazagão Velho/AP. The objective of this analyze how the culture and traditional knowledge relating to (a) and (the) community of Mazagão Velho reverberate in the teaching of classes in the final years of Elementary School at the Professora Antonia Silva Santos State School. To answer the problem and the proposed objectives, the methodology used is affiliated with the qualitative approach, being a field research, with the acquisition of analytical and descriptive data. The data were acquired from interviews with the management team, through questionnaires applied to 95 students from the 6th to the 9th year of Elementary School II and six teachers of the classes involved. In addition, the observation of narratives of the focus group, composed of six families belonging to the school community, was carried out. The process included the analysis of the production of drawings with Elementary School II students and their relatives and, finally, the analysis of the data from the researcher’s field diary. The results emphasize the relationship of those involved with the identity and cultural context of the Mazagão Velho community, as well as the construction and advancement of educational knowledge on cultural themes and knowledge relating to popular traditions and the Afro descendant community, with evidence documented in their celebrations, cultures, knowledge and traditions documented in this investigation, in addition to the significant heritage and identities documented through the narratives, responses, reflections and drawings of the subjects involved in this investigation. Furthermore, as main results, we highlight the ways in which the Mazagan culture established borders and is distinguished by the difference in what separates its identity from the other, with elevations, commonly in the form of oppositions. Finally, this investigation exclusively outlined a fragment of the history of Mazagão Velho and its educational context. The history of Mazagão Velho is reconstructed in a transformative way absolutely through its multiplicity of cultural versions of a historical people, a set of cultural memory that continually moves in time and space through its timely manifestations and cultural practices within society.
